Aluminum hydroxide is internationally known as an environmentally friendly, halogen-free flame retardant. The raw material for the production of AlpiAl is redeposited aluminum hydroxide of high purity and whiteness.
AlpiAl (aluminium hydroxide) is a brand of flame-retardant fillers based on milled aluminum hydroxide, providing exceptional thermal stability and effectively replacing synthetic aluminum hydroxide in the cable industry while maintaining the same level of fire resistance and excellent mechanical properties. Moreover, a specially developed milling technology allows to produce coarse-grained AlpiAl grades with high whiteness and exceptional purity, which are widely used in the production of synthetic stone.
Magnesium carbonate is widely used as a flame retardant in PVC-based composite materials. The use of AlpiCarb in chlorine-containing polymers and elastomers makes it possible to increase the oxygen index, reduce the optical density and acidity of smoke.
